Kim Gallagher:
Spanish lessons by SKYPE!
Wow! What a great way to learn … Only been with Roger for about 6 weeks and already I feel very confident with pronunciation and vocabulary.
The idea of being able to use SKYPE, in addition to the fact that it’s free to use, I would not have been able to take on any other programme of lessons due to other commitments and my remote location.
It’s made it all so flexible and Roger is patient and uses the instant messaging to enhance the lessons which you can then copy and download for revision.
Good work Roger and I look forward to each lesson.
Sabine Eckhart-Scheel:
Stina (12 years) is doing very well in French and, thanks to you, has now caught up the year she missed in her language lessons.
You did a fantastic job with her and, even over the Skype distance learning, she has learnt so much from you. Thanks a lot for your support.
Mary Brown:
Roger is an excellent Language Tutor. His lessons are structured, yet flexible, and he has the skill to identify his students’ most effective mode of learning and he adapts his teaching method accordingly.
In a relatively short time I have made considerable progress in learning French with Roger’s tuition. The class notes and handouts help to reinforce the material covered in class and provide useful reference notes for homework.
I have also found his ‘French is OK – Verb Tables’ invaluable. Perhaps most important of all – Roger’s lessons are very enjoyable.
Diana Avetisyan:
Roger is an excellent tutor who takes an individualistic approach to students according to their needs and competences. He also cares about what he is doing.
He helped me to upgrade my French language competence to the required standard in less than a month by employing original techniques, such as high-speed reading, listening to audio materials developed by him, and conversing at length about different subjects.
I am grateful to him for refreshing my knowledge through reading, listening, speaking and writing.
Trish Flynn:
I would like to congratulate Roger on his brilliant construction of SPANISH IS OK.
This verb table book helps the student to break down the thousands of verbs into coherent units of comprehension, and its compactness is a huge plus avoiding the necessity of heaving the larger books to classes. I would highly recommend this book for Spanish courses.

Suzanne Stokes:
My partner and I had French lessons as a couple and it was really good as we progressed really quickly with the one-to-two tuition.
Roger tailored the lessons to the things we wanted to know and, as he’s really easy to get along with, it made for a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Kamilla Pawlikowska:
You are a fantastic teacher, patient and very sensitive to the learner’s needs.
Christie Plumb – French:
I cannot believe no one has thought of this great way of explaining verbs before. Verbs used to be so scary but now it makes sense using Roger’s method.
The way verbs are separated, and the patterns found even in irregular forms, is reassuring and makes you feel it is really quite easy to learn.
Adelina Harte – Italian:
What an amazing book. I love it! It is so different from other grammar books in its far clearer layout and the way it splits verb forms into 2 parts. Now that’s simple! Well done for being brave and not doing the same old thing like all the other verb books out there.
Alison Chapman – Spanish:
The verb tables in “Spanish Is OK…” are presented in an extremely clear and logical way, and are easy to understand thanks to the step-by-step explanations. I especially like the “how to form” row, highlighted as a yellow strip, which is such a novel approach. I would highly recommend this book as an invaluable resource for all students / tutors of Spanish.
